How we handle
your information.
What we keep about you, where it came from, why we keep it, who else handles it, and how to have it changed or removed. It covers two groups of people: anyone who uses the Plantel self-check, and anyone we contact first.
Who is responsible
Proarc AI, a sole proprietorship owned by Prostil Jain, is responsible for this information. On this site it is called ProArc, and it makes Plantel.
Write to Contact@proarcai.in about anything on this page.
If you use the self-check
What we save, and when
The moment your report appears on screen, we save:
- your answers, including anything you typed in the free-text box;
- your score, and how it was worked out;
- the time it was saved;
- where the link you followed came from: the source tag in the link, any campaign tags in it, the address of the site that sent you (the site only, never the page, and only when it is a different site), and the page you landed on.
A source tag names one of our posts or messages, not a person. Everyone who clicks the same link carries the same tag. Each of these values is cut down to letters, numbers and a few punctuation marks, 64 characters at most, before it is saved.
Saving the report means your browser connects to our database provider. As with any website, our hosting and database providers receive your internet (IP) address and browser details as part of that connection, and may keep them in their own service logs. The saved report has no place for them.
If you click to book a call, we save your answers again, marked as a booking click.
If you ask for a copy of your report, we also save:
- your name, if you give it, and your email address;
- whether you ticked the box asking for a short note from the founders, which version of that sentence you saw, and, if you ticked it, the time you sent the request;
- how you found the page, if you choose to say.
What the self-check does not do
No account is created. The self-check sets no cookies, keeps nothing in your browser, and gives you no visitor or session number, so we cannot link one visit to the next. Its fonts and images come from this site. The only other thing it loads is our hosting provider's visit counter, which works without cookies.
Why we keep it
- To produce your report.
- To see which parts of the self-check work, and which of our posts and messages bring people to it.
- To send the copy you asked for. One of the founders sends it by hand from Contact@proarcai.in within one working day.
- Only if you ticked the box: to send you one short note from the founders about what your answers suggest, from prostil@proarcai.online. Reply stop at any time.
We keep your answers and score because we have a legitimate interest in running and improving a free diagnostic. We use your name and email with your consent. You can withdraw it at any time, and doing so does not affect what happened before.
If you book a call
Our booking page is provided by Google. It asks for your first name, last name and email address, and adds the call, with a video link, to our calendar. We use these to hold the call and to write to you about it. We keep them, and any notes we make about the call, for as long as set out below.
If we contacted you first
Before we write to someone at a manufacturing company, we check, from public information, whether what we build is relevant to their company.
What we hold
- your name, job title and employer, the kind of role you hold (such as operations or quality), and who you report to, where that is public;
- the address of your public professional profile;
- a work email address and, where one is published, a work phone number, with the public page where we found each, and how sure we are that the email address is right;
- the country where you or your company are based, so that we follow the rules that apply there and can decide how, and whether, to contact you;
- facts about your company from its own public pages, published reports and the trade press, such as what it makes, roughly how large it is, and the software it is known to use;
- our own notes on whether, and why now, our work might be relevant to your company, including a score we use to decide whom to write to first;
- the messages we have exchanged by email, on LinkedIn or on WhatsApp, notes of any calls, and when each happened.
Where it comes from
- your company's own website, news pages and published reports;
- trade press and your company's job postings;
- your public professional profile;
- business directories that publish work contact details.
Why we keep it
To decide whether our work is relevant to your company before we write, to write to you, and to keep track of what we sent and what you said, so that we do not repeat ourselves. We rely on our legitimate interest in contacting businesses about work that is relevant to them.
You can object at any time, and we stop. After that we keep only what we need to make sure you are not contacted again: your email or profile address, your company's name and web address, and the date you asked.
Messages we exchange with you on LinkedIn or on WhatsApp are also held by those services, under their own terms.
Who else handles it
These providers process information for us. We sell nothing, and pass nothing to anyone for advertising.
- Supabase, which hosts our database.
- Resend, which sends us an email alert when someone completes the self-check.
- Google Workspace, which carries our email, and Google's calendar service, which runs our booking page.
- Cloudflare, which hosts this site and counts page visits without cookies.
- Anthropic and Google, whose AI services we use to research companies and to draft our messages.
- LinkedIn, and WhatsApp (part of Meta), which carry any messages we exchange with you there.
Some of these providers may process information in countries other than yours.
How long we keep it
We keep it for 24 months after our last contact with you, then we delete it. That covers everything described on this page, whether it came from the self-check, a booking or our own research. The one exception is a do-not-contact entry, which is kept for as long as it is needed to honour your request.
Your rights
You can ask us to:
- send you a copy of what we hold about you;
- correct it;
- delete it;
- limit how we use it while a question about it is settled;
- stop using it, if you object to us holding it at all;
- send you what you gave us in a common file format, for you to keep or pass on;
- stop the note from the founders, if you asked for it.
Write to Contact@proarcai.in. One email is enough, and you do not need to give a reason. We act on it the same day we read it, and reply to say what we did. You can also complain to the data protection authority where you live.

Anything unclear, or anything you want changed or removed: one email to the founders is enough.
